DISCOVER GAS CARD
The Discover Gas
Card, issued by Morgan Stanley, is for people with
excellent credit looking for a credit card that is going
to offer cash rewards for buying gas and purchases.
Cardholders will earn a 5% in cash rebates for gas and auto maintenance
purchases. In addition, as much as 1% in rebates for
general purchases and .25% for all purchases made at
select discount stores and warehouse clubs. In order to
receive the full 1% rebate you must spend over $3,000.
You will receive a .25% rebate when you spend up to
$1,500 and a .5% when $1,500 - $3,000 is spent. There is
no annual limit for the amount of rebates you can earn,
and rebates will not expire as long as you keep your
account active within a 36 month period.
As an extra perk, cardholders who choose to redeem
their rebates for gift certificates from participating
Discover Card Partners can earn up to a
double Cashback Bonus®.
This credit card is great for those that anticipate
spending up to $1,200 a
year on gas and auto maintenance purchases (to earn
the full 5% cash rebate) and plan to earn double
cash rebates by using their Cashback
Bonus® award at participating retailers. Because of
the low interest rates associated with this credit card,
carrying a balance is not that costly.
