TRIBUTE MASTERCARD GOLD CARD
Approval criteria are very lenient. The card offers
the basic function of a credit card, without any rewards
and/or perks. The main benefits for this card is that
account activity is reported to all three major credit
bureaus every month.
The downside of the
Tribute card are the high interest variable rates and
the minimum caps associated with its rates. Meaning, no
matter how low the Prime Rate drops, the interest rate
associated with the account will not go any lower than
the predetermined minimum caps. Also, the APRs for all
transaction are going to be coupled with the highest
value Prime Rate from the billing cycle. As a result, it
is likely that the APRs will never come close to the
lowest possible interest rate.
As previously mentioned, the most beneficial feature of
this card is that your account activity will be reported
to the credit agencies every month. We suggest you make
one or two purchases/month and pay your account balance
in full every month to avoid the interest rate costs.
